Vincristine sulfate enhanced MTX uptake by inhibiting MTX efflux, thus increasing the level of intracellular drug in excess of the tightly bound fraction. The potential clinical implications of using MTX in commbination with the aforementioned drugs for cancer chemotherapy are discussed.
